- Jack Baum - Chairman of the BoardJack Baum is a co‐founder and chairman of the board of TableTop Media (TTM) and is recognized for his business expertise within both the restaurant and technology industries.
Jack has been involved with multiple start‐up companies including Dallas private equity firm, Sagebrook Technology Partners as the founding partner. Jack was also a founder of Ingenient Technologies.
Prior to Sagebrook in 1998, Jack spent 18 years in the restaurant and food service industries, founding Landlock Seafood, Newport's, Hampton's, Nickel City Grill as well as The Canyon Cafe Restaurant Group. In 1997, Canyon Cafe was selected as one of Nation's Restaurant News’ Hot Concepts. That same year Canyon Cafe was bought by a $1 billion public company. - Austen Mulinder - President and CEOAusten Mulinder, President and CEO, brings more than 25 years of experience in managing global sales, marketing and operations. He most recently served as corporate vice president of Operator Channels at Microsoft and previously served as corporate vice president for the Communications Sector, where he led strategy, sales and marketing of Microsoft services and solutions to telecommunications, hosting, media and entertainment companies.
Before joining Microsoft, he served for six years as president and CEO of Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc., a wholly owned Fujitsu company. During his tenure there, Mulinder led the company's transformation into a leading retail technology solutions vendor. - Shawn Gentry - CROShawn Gentry, co-founder, leverages over 18 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience to lead TableTop Media (TTM) strategic sales and monetization strategies.
Prior to TableTop Media, he was involved in two successful start-up ventures from concept to profitability in the medical surgical market. Throughout his career, Shawn has launched market-first technologies, managed dynamic teams and implemented revenue strategies to exceed revenue expectations. He also serves on several new technology and digital media panels with Digital Hollywood (Digital Out-of-Home Advertising Association), CES (consumer electronics show) and NRA (National Restaurant Association – Technology Forum).
Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science from Millsaps College and an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. - John Regal - CMOJohn has a 20-year history of providing the visionary thinking and strategic leadership to create profitable businesses. Throughout his career, John has demonstrated he can market almost anything, from cereal to cell phones to pharmaceuticals.
Some of the brands John has launched include Prozac, Cranberry Almond Crunch Cereal, POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice and KajeetCell Phones for Kids. He’s also managed multi‐million dollar campaigns for established brands like Post Grape‐Nuts Cereal and Microsoft Windows. John’s secret to his success is identifying market trends ahead of the curve. He then develops products to fulfill these trends and brings them to market using an integrated marketing campaign with social media, PR, and experiential programs.
John obtained his MBA from the Wharton School of Business and has worked at Kraft, Microsoft, Eli Lily and a number of start‐ups. - Bill McNamara - CFO and Corporate Development OfficerBill has over18 years of experience in the disciplines of operations, finance, consulting, project management and accounting. He is an expert at designing and implementing strategies that grow revenue, market share and profitability, and is consistently successful at providing solutions that achieve operational efficiency and productivity throughout all aspects of an organization.
Before joining TableTop Media, Bill was the Vice President of U.S. Sales Operations at SAP Americas. Bill has also held leadership positions in financial operations and consulting at PeopleSoft, Kraft Foods and Arthur Andersen.
He is a CPA (non‐practicing), with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin‐Madison and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School Of Business. - Viren Balar - CTOViren Balar, co‐founder, is an expert in technology architecture and systems engineering with an extensive background in wireless, broadband, and digital signal processing technologies.
Prior to TableTop Media’s formation, he led Texas Instruments’ 35‐person global Wireless Terminal Business Unit development team. In addition, Viren founded and ran TI’s Near Shore Design Center in Monterrey, Mexico managing 130 engineers and an R&D budget of $12 million. Consistently recognized as one of TI’s top engineers, he was a member of the elite TI Tech Ladder group, which is composed of less than 16% of the company’s engineering population. Viren acquired business and marketing experience while serving as founder and president of a data solutions company and operating a retail franchise.
Viren holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. - Dave Miller - PartnerDave Miller brings more than 30 years of business experience and restaurant industry relationships to TableTop Media. As founder of JTECH Communications, he created and sold the first guest paging system for the restaurant industry. Today, JTECH pagers are used in more than 60,000 locations worldwide and found in the hands of an estimated two million consumers on any given weekend.
Before founding JTECH, he was a successful restaurateur whose first restaurant was recognized by the New York Times as one of the top 10 in Florida. Well known and highly regarded in the restaurant industry, Dave is a sought‐after speaker with appearances at industry events. He has moderated at the National Restaurant Association for the past decade, where he originated and still leads the popular “Technology Tour.”
Dave graduated from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. - Raymond Howard - VP, Client OperationsRaymond Howard, a TableTop Media (TTM) co‐founder, draws upon more than a dozen years of system and sales engineering, strategic selling and sales management experience to ensure the successful adoption, deployment, and on‐going support of TTM’s technology by major restaurant chains.
Previously, Raymond managed a team of direct sales representatives, independent resellers, and public relations consultants across the southwest United States for Tyco Electronics. At Tyco, he successfully led the technical and sales capture strategies for turnkey wireless networks for government, utility, transportation, and commercial opportunities ranging from $3 million to $75 million. He was responsible for securing prominent clients including the State of Texas, Texas Utilities, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and American Electric Power.
Raymond holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. - Tim Leslie VP of Client ServicesTim has 25 years of professional experience leading restaurants and driving innovation, execution and delivery of solutions that generate positive guest counts, sales and profits.
More than 20 years of his experience has been with Brinker International, most recently as Research and Development Director. Tim developed and implemented sustainable, scalable operations solutions for both Chili¹s and On the Border restaurant brands. Tim has a passion for innovation and guest satisfaction. He has managed budgets and processes, direct reports with cross-functional skills and diverse backgrounds, and relationships with restaurants¹ teams. He has an ability to translate client needs and business opportunities into software business requirements. - Kevin Mowry - Director of EngineeringKevin Mowry is the director of engineering for TableTop Media. An expert in telecommunications and embedded systems, he holds four patents for work completed at Motorola. Kevin was instrumental in developing wireless infrastructure components and leading international telecommunications standards activities.
Kevin also led product management and marketing efforts for Texas Instruments’ (TI) OMAP family of wireless application processors, working closely with Nokia, Samsung, and LG to deploy new smartphone products into the mobile marketplace. At TI he introduced the industry’s first Nokia Series 60 reference design for smartphones and led several joint development efforts with Microsoft to create compelling platforms for handset manufacturers based on the latest processors.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northwest Nazarene University in the state of Idaho and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
